Antique is a live action adaptation to the japanese manga, Antique Bakery. This the second adaptation to the manga (the anime excluded) and is probably the only one that truly follows the original plot. The actor who plays the patissier (Kim Jae Wook) is brilliant as Ono. There are no "implied" homosexual moments like the Japanese tv drama. Nope. Not only is it funny, but the guys are cute, too! Love it too? go ahead and add your name to the list. They'll be showing Antique for the Asian Film Festival at the IFC Center in NYC next week! The first showing is tomorrow at 1:25pm and the second will be on Saturday the 27th at 5:40pm. If you live in the area, go see it on the big screen. I'll see you there!
